VEEDERSBURG --- Clifford Florey, 68, Veedersburg, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday after suffering a heart attack at work. He had worked as a maintenance employe of Sycamore Lanes at Covington the past two years. Previously he had been employed 25 years at Hydraulic Brick Co. of Veedersburg. He was born June 2, 1904, in Fountain County, the son of Richard and Bertha Smith Florey. He was married to Mildred Linker April 2, 1924. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Marjorie) Wilson and Mrs. Marlon (Janet) Brown, both of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Burl (Velma) Shoaf of Veedersburg and Mrs. Claude (Ruthellen) Linker of Rockville, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Parham Funeral Home at Veedersburg with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday. --typed by Walt W
